Choose the Power Rating for Your Site

Select from 40 kW, 60 kW, 80 kW and 120 kW DC charger configurations.

The appropriate rating depends on your available electrical supply, expected charging demand, vehicle compatibility and parking duration. Velonix can help assess these requirements before confirming the configuration.

Actual charging power varies with battery voltage, vehicle charging requests and the selected charger’s output current limit. Rated power is not available at every voltage across the output range.

Product Features

150–1000 V DC Output

The wide output voltage range supports different EV battery platforms. Match the charger’s voltage and current capability to your target vehicles to determine the charging performance available.

10.1-Inch Color Touchscreen

A dedicated touchscreen provides the charging interface, supported by green, blue and red LED status indicators. This layout gives drivers access to charging controls and visible operating information.

CCS2 with Optional Connector Standards

CCS2 is the standard charging connector. CCS1, CHAdeMO and NACS options are available for projects serving other vehicle interfaces.

Share the vehicle models and destination market so the appropriate connector and communication configuration can be confirmed.

OCPP Charging Management

OCPP 1.6J supports communication with compatible charging management systems. OCPP 2.0.1 is available as an option.

Specify your backend platform and required functions during project planning so integration requirements can be reviewed.

Network and Local Connectivity

The specification lists Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with optional 4G connectivity. The functions available through each interface depend on the selected configuration.

RFID Access and Customized Payment Options

RFID authentication follows ISO/IEC 14443. App access and credit card functions are available through customization, subject to the required hardware and software integration.

IP54 and IK10 Enclosure

The charger features IP54 ingress protection and IK10 impact protection. Air cooling supports thermal management, with an operating temperature range of −30°C to +50°C.

Installation requirements and any operating derating should be checked against the selected model’s documentation.

Electrical Protection

Protection functions cover overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, overtemperature, undertemperature, ground faults, lightning and surges. The specification also includes residual current protection and internal fuses.

Application Scenarios

Commercial Parking Facilities

Provide DC charging at business premises and managed parking locations. Select the power rating around vehicle dwell time and site capacity.

Retail and Hospitality

Offer charging access at shopping destinations, hotels and other customer parking facilities, with authentication options matched to your operating model.

Public Charging Locations

Configure connector standards and backend connectivity for public EV charging projects.

Fleet Depots

Plan charging around vehicle schedules, daily energy demand and available grid power. Confirm vehicle compatibility and expected charging performance before selecting the charger rating.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which power ratings are available?

The series offers 40 kW, 60 kW, 80 kW and 120 kW rated power configurations. Select a model based on your site supply and vehicle charging requirements.

What is the difference between a 60 kW and a 120 kW DC fast charger?

A 120 kW model has a higher rated power ceiling. Whether a vehicle can use that additional power depends on its battery voltage, charging acceptance and the charger’s current capability. The site’s electrical supply must also support the selected model.

Which vehicles can use this CCS2 DC charger?

Vehicles must support DC charging through the selected connector and fall within the charger’s supported voltage and communication requirements. Provide the vehicle models for compatibility review.

Does the charger support OCPP?

Yes. The specification lists OCPP 1.6J, with OCPP 2.0.1 available as an option. Confirm the required version and backend integration scope when ordering.

Can drivers use RFID cards or credit cards?

RFID authentication is included in the specification. Credit card functions and app access require customization and appropriate system integration.

What power supply does the charger require?

The listed input is 400 V AC ±10%, three-phase with neutral and protective earth, at 50 or 60 Hz. Input capacity, cabling and upstream protection must match the selected charger model.

Does ISO 15118 support automatically include Plug & Charge?

The protocol reference alone does not confirm Plug & Charge functionality. Please specify this requirement separately so the supported functions and integration scope can be checked.
